CSC really is moving fast...several November filers are already being approved!!

It's making me c-rayyyyyzeh thinking about it.

Grrrrrrrrr!!!! Bad David, for not living in a CSC state!!!!!! Ya know, i haven't read a book since I met Dave. It's not a social sport you can do on the phone and I talk to him from when I finish work till when I go to bed. I cant wait till I am in his company all the time and am able to read a book....!!!!!!!!!

Well at least we have a bit of hope now that a November filer got approved...hang on there and hopefully it wont be too long before you're able to start reading your books again :D

Oh gawd...i really forgot how much i enjoy reading! Lil ray of hope. I see all these Nov filers getting approved and a lot of them have been praying. I'm thinking about taking it up....only myself and my SO are both athiests.......so i dont think it will work.

I think i'll just do the waiting inline thing, hoping by some fluke a VSC worker bypasses the rest of the Aug, Sept, Oct filers and gets to me hee hee....

Ok, I take that back. I do have a sense of karma about things and I dont think the above statement is going to help matters :)

Awww thanks sweetie :) How are you feeling? I hope the lil one isnt making you feel to yucky.

I check the approximate approval date all the time too. The other day it said June, which horrified me for a moment!!!! Then VSC did some work and it got better again. Yeah, Im thinking September time. I'm not giving notice on my house or Job until that visa is in my hand. Then I'll have about 6 weeks to pack my life up. Sounds like quite a lot at the moment....but 6 weeks is nothing really...EEEEK!

Hello All,

My first post here, but I've been lurking  .

Figured I'd let the November crew know that the VSC is (albeit slowly) looking through the petitions.

I got my NOA1 hard copy on November 7th and received my NOA2 e-mail on January 30th.

Once I saw that someone else got approved (from November filings on this thread), I started flipping out being worried that something might be wrong (even called USCIS)...until I got the email.

To those who are still waiting: Hang tight! It's a pain not knowing what's going on, but VSC is going through the stack...

Patience and Good luck!

Pete

hi My fiance filed petition in oct bt we gt the reciept in november 2008..so we r jst waiting , hw did u find ur adjudicated date, i want to find ours..yea i agree its a long waiting...

First of all welcome to the November thread..If you fill in your time line you will be able to look up your approximate adjudication date. You can find this by clicking on "My timeline" and scroll down to the bottom and it should say there. To get to "My timeline" I usually just go into the tope left of the page where it says "Logged in As..." and once u get to your page you should see "My timeline" on the left hand side...My mind's pretty clouded at the moment so sorry if im confusing you!

hey thanks..i will try it right nw, i have jst come bk from china , i was working there and my fiance is in Iraq, bt he is going bk to Hawaii next month..we got engaged in april bt we waited till oct to file the case, cause of him being in iraq till feb n then i wanted to complete my contract n comitment with the org...now iam waiting ....i dont know wht i should do, as the USCIS is telling it may take 9 months jst for approval...wht do u think abt what the site has been showing?

I just wrote a long response to this but for some reason got deleted...take two:

If your case is straightforward and with no complications, I highly doubt that it will take 9 months just for approval. There have been a few people that have received their NOA2's just after two months. USCIS's processing times is usually longer than expected approval only to cover the back sides and to avoid being unindated with calls from thousands of petitioners. As for what Ive seen on VJ, the average has been 6 months from filing to receiving the visa. There are several who receives their NOA2 around the 4 month period from what Ive seen on here...
