November '08 K-1 Filers

Havent been able to visit the November filers for a while we haven to busy with Radz going to Manila and doing medical and now getting ready for interveiw later this week. IM glad to see everyone here doing well and Wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope you all get good news soon.

Thank you Radz just called me a few minutes ago she got approved at interview. We didnt get to talk long but i hope we can talk more later so she can fill me in on the details. Good Luck Nov filers. and dont put to much stock in the online status check. lots of June filers got approved and the online status never changed.

Hey all I'm Kevin. We filed for k1 visa and received NOA1 on 11/10/08.

I got on the uscis website and used the 13 character receipt # given

but it come up with case status not found. Why would that be

if I have gotten the NOA1 receipt notice? Also tried on phone but same

outcome. How does one contact customer service on phone says they

are available but no option to talk to one ??

If anyone can help in answering these I will greatly appreciate it.

Many people are having problems with the website. You have your NOA1, so you are in the system. Try not to worry about being able to check your case.

Many people are having problems with the website. You have your NOA1, so you are in the system. Try not to worry about being able to check your case.

Have you tried calling uscis? I did and was unable to get customer

service? Is weird. guess they got better things to do. Hope they will

get all of our petitions approved in a timely manner.

I haven't attempted to call USCIS. I think if you do manage to get customer service, they will just tell you that you are within processing times, and not give any more info. Unfortunately we are dealing with the government, not a private company where it would be in their best interest to be open to us about our cases.

If its any help the USCIS website had been acting up for the last few months. Lots of people got approved for Noa2 and got them in the mail and there status shows pending. Like the others said you have your Noa1 so your ok. I dont have much confidence on the USCIS website the processing dates are not correct, and the infromation on the login site seems to work at best half the time and who knows how much of it is correct when its working.
