Thanks for the info. I just got off the phone with USICS and they pretty much read me word for word a standard script that told me that I would have to

wait and that there is no set time to receive any NOA. I am working in Iraq, so I guess I will have to wait until I return to the US in a couple of months to

pursue this more.

03/05/2008 --first met Vincent occasionally at Jones' dinner party

**/07/2008 -- He confessed his love to me~

10/12/2008 -- 2nd met at Phuket Island,Thailand and have our engagement

11/6/2008 --Application Received at NSC

11/15/2008 --Recieved NOA1(reciept)

02/08/2009 -- 3rd met in Guangzhou,he came back with his mom visited my parents

02/24/2009 -- NOA2 notice sent by vsc

05/15/2009 -- Packet 3

05/17/2009 -- guangzhou consulate received my forms

06/10/2009 -- Packet 4

I am still unable to get a status for my NOA 1. Is anyone else still having this problem?

Hi,

We are able to look online and see our case if that is what you are referring to. Nothing has happened with it yet besides the check (cheque where im from but im attempting to adopt americanisms) being cashed and the NOA having been sent to us.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone....i cant believe its nearly a month since we filed, the time has gone so fast......i hope the next 4-5 months do to!

Merry xmas.....i might not be around for a while....david arrives on Monday Morning....and im looking to take a break from the internet.....i swear i spend to much time on here with him.

11/25/2009 - Started my new job!

02/26/2010 - Passed my driving test :-p

07/20/2011 - Eligible to remove conditions

2012 - Going for citizenship

09/20/2011 - Removal of conditions submitted to VSC....here we go...again!

It's been a quick and relatively painless journey thanks to tireless research, dumb luck and this community :)

DONE with USCIS for a while :)

Havent been able to visit the November filers for a while we haven to busy with Radz going to Manila and doing medical and now getting ready for interveiw later this week. IM glad to see everyone here doing well and Wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope you all get good news soon.

Checking in quick on all my November buddies and all other V´J´s....I won´t be on here for a lil while cause the clock is ticking.....58 hours and I´ll be on my way home and spend a couple weeks and the holidays with my sweetheart and my new family!! See you all back on here next year :-) I know we all can´t wait for 2009 and a fast NOA2 to be in the mail and other good news the new year will hold for us!!!

We're doing just fine. For the most part, waiting is not fun at all, but we try to make the best out of it. We've learned so many things about each other that we would otherwise have no opportunity to know. Overall, it's been good : )

If you have your NOA1, don't worry. The status-checking site is unreliable at best.
