I am filling out the DS-230 and wondering if anyone has ran into questions, such as Q22: "In what Occupation do you intend to work in the States" Should I leave it BLANK? Or should I say what's really on my mind? People say that since we are applying for FIANCE visa, we should not state that we WILL BE WORKING or whatsoever at this stage. Is it true? Anyone who has gone through the interview can give any advice? Anything? Thanks!

FINALLY !!!!!! CRIS NOA2 EMAIL RECEIVED TODAY !!!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

Quick story. Last month I signed a contract for a new construction home here in Houston. So, I flew her in from Rio last Friday to sit down with our builder to make all of the exterior structural and interior selections for the home...floors, tile, appliances, fixtures, etc etc etc. Six hour process today. Guess what....as we were finishing up final selections, guess what arrived....the CRIS EMAIL !!! OMG. Couldnt have come at a more perfect moment. She cried, we hugged, kissed...and the design consultant was like, what the heck is going on. HAHA. Anyway, thought you might like the story.

With that said, I am now praying for all of those who are having to continue the wait for their approvals. This is a great site and I appreciate everyone here who contributes. Is like a big family. Thank you everyone for that.

So, onward from here to the next steps !!!!

CONGRATULATIONS Mike & Miche :dance::dance::dance:

The way you got your NOA2 is so wonderful. For most of the people in this tread it came when couples were together. The magic worked for you too :)

Wish you tons of luck for the rest of the journey and very soon reuninon with your love one.

Yes it has been very quiet here lately. Everyone is getting ready with the next steps I guess. Yesterday I bought a plane ticket. I know I have to wait for the visa in hand but it was a great deal and I couldn't resist it. I bought the ticket directly from the airline website and they had an option for youth (25 under- i am almost there :)). This was the first time i've seen such sale but it drop down my ticket with $220 so hey I am not complaining.

Jenn and Nick, juleali hang in there. The week is not over yet. Your NOA2's are around the corner. Keeping fingers crossed for you guys. Good luck :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

We are still here and so is the support!!! I pray that your approval will come soon. Have you contacted the USCIS? Ours had no touches at all and one day it came when we least expected. Also, my fiance called the USCIS a few times and visited the local office twice. For some reason, the lady at the local office could see something from her computer which we could not see at the moment. Hers said "Pending" while ours said "ERRORS(case not found)."

This thread sure has gotten quiet! I guess everyone is moving on to the next step of the process. I'm still waiting for the NOA2... no touches... starting to feel like it is never going to come!!
