oh my! It's even more real when you have a ticket.....and yes of course...a little person too!!! We decided that I would leave on Sept 10th, get married on 19th....when you have dates it feels a little more real.

I looked yesterday, on the date i want to leave, there is a ticket for $455...I was so tempted to buy it but am holding off and trying to be cool about everything. In reality im a bundle of nerves.

I cant believe you'll have a two month old.....that's incredible. How time fly's.....

Definitely am getting a little nervous - only because my family wont be able to spend all that much time with the little man before we leave. Yes, I cant believe ill have a 2 month old by then...unbelievable how time flies!

September is around the corner girl - soon you'll need to sort out what you're packing :P

That ticket price is great though...but im sure you'll be able to catch a good deal again...there seems to be several airfare sales this year!

Ack so much can change in just one day...We talked about it yesterday.....looks like it'll be mid July when i go over now.

Now I'm REALLLY SCARED! :)

Do you know the sex of the baby??!!!

Hey everyone. Although this is my first post here, I've been reading for a few months now. I just wanted to report that I got my NOA2 on 4/4/09. The funny thing was I was at work and I get a call from my baby and I hear her crying...I thought something had happened or someone died. heh...well, something DID happen. I was so happy when I got the news :D The long wait is finally over, but I kno I'm not out of the water yet. Itjust puts us that much closer to finally being with each other :D Hang in there to those who haven't got their NOA2 yet. It's on its way....

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one quick question guys!! my boyfriend just received packet 3..is the check list all he has to send back to the embassy together with the biography?? the affidavit of support not right?

Im not exactly sure as to what you mean with biography. But most packet 3 are sent in a single letter format detailing the forms that need to be downloaded from the US embassy website, print and filled out. In addition to the forms that needs to be completed, he will need to bring everything that is in the checklist (it will specify if an original or a copy is required).

For your fiance, he will need to have the following:

DS-156 (in duplicate)

DS-156k (one copy)

DS-157 (once copy - only applies to men between ages 16-45)

Passport

photograph

Birth certificate

Police certificate

Medical Examination results

Affidavit of support - including financial evidence

Im pretty sure thats it but he should check the website for up to date information and if he's unsure, send them an email or call them.

Hope this helps!

Hello. I also don't know anything about biography.I know we sent one with the initial petition but i don't think you need it for the interview. My packet 3 was a list with instructions what to do and the actual forms i need to fill in, even the medical documents. I also had to obtain a cerificate for marital status but as far as i know this might be just here. I didn't have to send anything. just bring the documents with me for the interview. If you have any questions you better call the consulate. They have been very helpfull to me.

Good luck

pls :time:

Thanks ;)

I'm so upset :(

London had not received our case yet and I got worried.

Turns out my fears were founded. We are under administrative processing even though they sent us a letter on the 19th saying that they were sending the petition to london.

I feel sooooo annoyed and sad right now. I hope this doesn't take months :(

I'm going in search of some chinese food and a glass of wine. I wish I was one of those people who didnt eat when they are stressed. :)
