Bad news everyone. I'm out of the race. I got two emails, one this morning (last night, China time) that said my petition was transfered (to where?) and a few hours later, another that said it was approved. I was asleep, so I just got them a few minutes ago. Good luck to those of you still in the race.

i just got a letter from NVC saying that my petition will be forwarded within a week to the embassy in poland..hmm i thought it usually takes longer..i really gotta rush now with everything.. does anyone know what i should send my fiancee now? i guess the afidavid of support and is there anything else? hmm im kinda lost now and everything is moving so fast

they are received. Government, go figure. Oh well, congrats to

all those approved.

Let's pray the rest of us get approved soon. I am getting

frustrated waiting for an email/letter. Not even able to check

online or call. Me and my love are always praying for an approval,

we really need His blessings. I leave all up to Him. I pray He'll

allow us to get that much closer to being together with an

approval soon.

Another week another step closer to getting approval

I hear ya Vol.....it is a bit agonizing, albeit self-imposed. The CSC vs. VSC processing times are a bit frustrating as well. But, I will never take away from those who waited just as long (and in many cases longer) for their NOA2's and subsequent events to take place.

The way we look at it....one day more of waiting is one day closer to it happening.

Keep the faith everyone who is in limbo. In it together.

Its usually quicker. We received our letter from NVC and we got packet 3 via email on the date of the letter ..letter was most likely issued later but it was pretty fast nevertheless.

you should start gathering your affidavit of support including all evidence. Ask your fiancee to start the police check as it can take up to a few weeks to receive this is many places. You could also ask your fiancee to go into the embassy website and download the forms required for packet 3 and start completing them.

I know, when we got approved I felt so guilty for those in August Sept and Oct who were still waiting.

MzMo - do you have a date for your interview yet? I was getting all excited about sending back my packet 3 stuff when it arrives and then I realised I would have to reign my excitement in a bit....london are giving out dates really quickly and I dont really want to be interviewed until June!!! Dave's coming over for the interview and it may be a little bit soon to tell his new job...hey! Gimme 10 days off!!!

- Affidavid of Support

- Tax transcripts, W2s, resent pay stubs, employer letter

- Engagement ring receipt

- Letter of intent-

- His boarding passes from the last trip to Bulgaria

- Confirmation e-mail for all the plane tickets he bought

- Booking confirmations from hotels, concerts etc that we went together + photos

- Copies of the pages in his passport

Thats about it. Hope it helps.

Don't know if this is any help but I have had 4 visa interviews with american embassy. Always used standart A4 for any kind of printed documents. Never got any problems.

Hey Ellie!

Im still waiting for the affidavit of support and tax stuff from Rich...once he sends them I can then send that packet 3 in requesting for an interview date. Oh yeah, Im also waiting for my police report which I applied for on the 22 March! Im not too concerned yet although time is flying for me..Im hoping to be interviewed around Mid May. I think my NOA2 expires sometime in June..Im pushing it!

Well I hope Dave's able to take time off from work...! Lucky you though, he gets to be with you for the interview!!
