I just got my fiancee's K-1 petition in the mail today, so I'm anticipating being among the first of the November '08 filers.

It feels good to have finally gotten the ball rolling, but now comes the long wait. :(

07-16-2009 - interview - APPROVED

07-22-2009 - visa in hand

07/02/08 : GREEN CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED

03/27/09 : Driver's License issued

Removing Condition

04/03/10 : mailed to Vermont

04/08/10 : NOA1 & 1 yr extension

Call me a pessimist, but that just sounds too good to be true. I'll be happy if she's here within a year.

Yeah, but then you'll be disappointed when the predicted date comes and goes, and nothing happens. By being pessimist, I will be pleasantly surprised if I get the NOA2 before I expect it. :)

I intend to kill the stress by visiting her as often as I can, while we're waiting.

Come on people, I know I'm not the only one to have filed in the last couple days. Or are you guys counting your filing month as the month you sent your petition?

Tiger and I are counting from the day we sent ours to VSC. I don't know if that is correct, but that's where our timeline starts so we hopped in on the October filers.

2009-04-14 : Visa received - WOO-HOO!!!

2009-04-29 : POE - NYC

AOS Timeline

2009-05-05 : AOS sent via USPS

2009-05-15 : All the NOA's for AOS received in mail

2009-06-04 : Biometrics date

2009-06-08 : EAD and AP approved

2009-06-15 : EAD and AP received in mail

2009-06-23 : AOS transferred to CSC

2009-07-03 : Touched

2009-08-15 : Green card production ordered

2009-08 : GREEN CARD HOLDER

ROC Timeline

2011-05-04 : ROC sent via USPS

2011-05-06 : ROC received at VSC
