Our case will be at three months next week too. We have only received one tough 2 days after our NOA1, which was surely just putting it in a box or wherever it goes.

Also, if you look at the official USCIS timeline right now, it says that it is taking 6 months right now. So that is probably the most logical answer for the USCIS to give regardless of whether it could happen sooner or not.

Don't freak out! You are right on par with the rest of us; there are several forums for Aug filers where they keep tight watch on who's been touched, etc, etc (kind of like block parents...er...). I dont have the link, but maybe someone else could post them, because they can be comforting, knowing that there are tons of people with the same timeline.

Hang in there!

Your post and your title don't match up, your title implies you will get your VISA in 3 months, and your post says just the NOA2 in 3 months... but luckily for you there is a good chance the title is right, you are probably about 1 - 2 months away from getting a NOA2, from there the interview is usually only about 2 months out. There are no gaurentees in this process though, you could end up waiting an entire year as some others have, it's not likely but it happens. I'm an august filer too though I'm late august and filed at CSC instead of VSC so I'm probably 40-50 days behind you in terms of processing times.

Agreed. As hard as it is, don't freak out until you have passed USCIS timelines. Until that day happens, they're not going to be too keen on helping you. Just join the waiting room with the rest of us. At least you know your in the system, they'll get to you when your time comes.

yes..i'm a july filer and not expecting an noa2 for 2 more months. 5 months for noa2 seems to be average. hang in there. your half way through the long waiting part. after the noa2, the process will be faster! plus, will have things to do to prepare, other then just wait.

We have almost same date when we filed our K1 last year 2007, Last week of July and we got noticed of action 1 in the first week of August. I got my NOA2 December 2, 2007 and my interview February 7, 2008. Don't worry about it. it takes about 5 to 6 months the usual processing time. but others also they are approved in less than 3 months and got the schedule of interview.
