Can anyone please tell me how long a 3d or a d3 waiver take to accomplished . thanks

It's not a relevant question in your case. You have a lifetime bar with no possibility of a waiver. Ever.

You did say that your parents are US citizens, however. Depending on how and when they obtained their citizenship, you may have derived citizenship from them. This is what you need to determine.

- If you are indeed a US citizen, you will not need a visa or a waiwer. But you will need a good lawyer.

- If you are not a US Citizen, you will never be going to the US, since you have a lifetime ban for falsely claiming US citizenship. This ban can not be waived.

Good luck.

He said he 'bought' a US passport - although he doesn't say who from.

OP I imagine you now have a lifetime ban from the US because you pretended you were a US Citizen when you weren't. There's not really much you can do to overcome that I'm afraid. An immigration attorney might be able to offer you some help but I would be prepared for the worst.
