He said he 'bought' a US passport - although he doesn't say who from.

OP I imagine you now have a lifetime ban from the US because you pretended you were a US Citizen when you weren't. There's not really much you can do to overcome that I'm afraid. An immigration attorney might be able to offer you some help but I would be prepared for the worst.

If your parents are US citizens, then I believe without your offense in Miami they could have petitiond for a relative visa for you. In your case they might be able to prove hardship because they are sick and obtain a waiver for you, but you'll need a lawyer.

I guess I read it that with his/her parents being US Citizens, he was one as well. And I did see "bought" a passport, but I thought they might mean paid for one...as everyone has to do when sending in an application. Me bad.

You are just wasting your money with repeated visa applications. You will never be approved. Further, your infraction with the false claim of US citizenship and attempting to use a false US passport removes any waiver possibility. No visa -- No Waiver -- Never. You have yourself to blame.

You have yourself to blame.

Save the judgement, stick to the facts.

That wasn't a judgement--it was a fact. He admitted in the original post that he attempted to use a false passport.

If you stick to the facts, you wouldn't have given him false hopes in your previous post regarding a hardship waiver. Save the speculation, stick to the facts.

Yup, I made a mistake. Separate issue and for that I apologize to the OP.

Isn't this place suppose to be supportive? Saying "you have yourself to blame" is a pretty crappy thing to say to somebody. You never know what a person might do out of desperation. We don't always make the best choices when faced with dire circumstances and there's no reason to make another human being feel worse than they already do.

Support doesn't always mean good news. Sometimes the best support is the hard cold truth.

Can anyone please tell me how long a 3d or a d3 waiver take to accomplished . thanks

It's not a relevant question in your case. You have a lifetime bar with no possibility of a waiver. Ever.

You did say that your parents are US citizens, however. Depending on how and when they obtained their citizenship, you may have derived citizenship from them. This is what you need to determine.

- If you are indeed a US citizen, you will not need a visa or a waiwer. But you will need a good lawyer.

- If you are not a US Citizen, you will never be going to the US, since you have a lifetime ban for falsely claiming US citizenship. This ban can not be waived.

Good luck.
