Hi guys:

I have a terrible question: In my country you can have international birth and marriage certificates. They are in Portuguese, and lots of other languages, they have all the stamps and everything. I'm sending those to NVC: am I going to get RFE?? Are those considered copies or originals? I had no problem with USCIS, but now I'm worried...

Thanks, and good luck!

I sent in an international birth certificate and also included an official translation just in case. I would just wait and see if you get an RFE. If you do then worst case would be you will be required to send in an official translation. It only cost me $30 to have mine translated.
