our land." Quote taken for the bill!

There is also a bill to change the Anti Mail Order Bride Act. That bill is SBN-2576,

Wonder how much it will cost to replace the flags flown in every city plus all the stationary. Seems like the money would be better spent on education/infrastructure/ etc.. in the Mindanao province.

I like the old flag as it is & to my opinion there's no need to change how it looks no matter how "noble" the intention is. The Philippines has been going thru very difficult times and the people are hoping that somehow the economy will get better. I believe that Senate should write a more useful bill that will solve issues for the masses such as increasing more food supplies, better employment opportunities, help programs to improve the life of Filipinos, etc. instead of spending time and fortune on this bill.

I agree so... There are a lot more issues to be resolve rather than adding up another ray to Philippine flag.

This can be done if ever the government at least shown some development on how to uplift Philippine economy and other deprived sectors of the society. Oh come' on politicians, show some respect to taxes we're paying.
