i am going to send the AOS soon and i want to get the EAD going too. will efiling acceleratet the process for getting the EAD?

also: when would i call for a biometrics appt.?

or do they write me?

also: why can't i open the EAD instructions on the guide on this site? it says file damaged

Timeline

I would just send them both in together, I do not think e-file will get you there faster. You might e-file faster than the AOS application is entered into the computer and this could be a problem. I also think that you need to send in proof that you are eligible for the EAD which would be a receipt for the AOS form. There will be much less confusion if all is sent in together.
