Right. We should do away with warrant requirements for searches as well, with all the millions of American homes, no telling what people might be up to inside them. And any American homeowner who b!tches about their home being raided by the police should just remember that their job is hard enough as it is...give them a break.

Someone needs to do a thesis on left wing paranoia. Whereas I prefer the government have 'adequate' power to do their job; Rather than the status quo where the ball is in the criminals court and authorities are always, and pointlessly, playing cat and mouse games with criminals and organized crime.

Obviously you are not interested in protecting your family or others. Unfortunately in the real world we need more than amendments to do this.

Before you go off and write your thesis, I'd recommend you read up on Due Process as well as Warrants....or even better, take a course on constitutional law...seriously.

I don't need to. I look at Europe, Canada and Australia which are quite safe places to live in. Whereas the United States not so safe. Then I take it from there and look at the differences.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Dude, he obviously knows sh!t about American law, or our Constitution, habeas corpus, due process, and so on and so forth. If you read his posts, they're nothing but useless whining and rants about the evil terrorists or evil liberals or OECD nations or Australia.

Does anyone give him credibility for his posts regarding this country? I sure as hell hope not.

It's called a "cop out". It's an excuse for knowing very little about a country you just moved to.

Damn, too bad they were caught, eh Aficionado?

And from the looks of it, they were a bit too zealous in posting ####### on Myspace, a far cry from tapping phone lines. Way to go, Aficionado! Tap those phone lines for ####### they could find on a Myspace search!

If Aficionado knew anything, he'd know it's not the FBI who would look into those tapped lines, it's the NSA, as per their room on the AT&T trunks, namely one in San Francisco. He always finds a way to own himself.

Crikey..

SVRT I can get all of your details including SSN in a few hours if I wanted to. Lets leave it at that 'dude'.

You're 26 years old with a liberal arts degree yet act as if you know the world. You don't know ####.

Trying to make up for knowing nothing about due process, eh?

Getting flustered? I'd recommend going from high school government all the way through at least a general ed poly sci and U.S. history course. Then you might be able to keep up with us here.

Wo there big fella. We cannot all be as knowledgeable about the world as you are. Unfortunately chatting with people online on xbox live does not count.

This is where I run circles around you and your puny brain. I am not interested in America's due process or any other inadequate right you have. I am interested in pointing out what works and what does not.

Thought crime? ....

They talked about it ... did they do it?

"you honor ... they talked about it ... give them the chair"

Planning to execute a crime is also a crime. It's up to whoever files it to show there is intent, and given what was in the article, there is clearly an intent to execute these plans, so yes, it's a crime.

Not knowing sh!t about this country means you're in no position to state what works and what does not. Moron.
