Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Peru
Timeline

We filed last year in Nov 2007. They requested info and we sent that back in Dec 2007. My wife has her employment authorization card. It's been close to a year and we haven't heard anything. We orginally sent everything to Chicago...then to Mo then it said it got transferred to Cali and now they say it is here in San Antonio.

How long has it been taking people to get the GC? I know one guy on here that filed when we did got theirs back in February.

they said it depends on the current backlog. I was approved on Oct. 14 but GC is not yet in hand.

Wish yours comes soon too.

Current backlog? ... If the spouse is a USC (instead of a GC holder), then there should be no backlog, right?

I see, you are probably referring to the production backlog, as opposed to the # backlog (quota)... Never mind. Thanks!
