Travel Outside United States??

Hello Everyone,

I have a question, my husband POE will be on 11/20/08 with IR1 Visa. My question is, I want to turn around and go on a trip to Mexico on 11/28 with my husband. Can he travel outside the U.S. this soon and without a Green Card and be let back in to the United States without any problems? Any advice would be great!!!

He WILL have Green-Card, upon first entry on the IMMIGRANT visa he will get an I-551 STAMP in passport, this makes passport act a a temp green-card.

NOT A PROBLEM!

ALSO: Green-card holders are allowed to visit Mexico WITHOUT a visa, just like US Citizens.

So then even if he has a Lebanese Passport, we won't have to get a visa for him?? Also this is not too early to travel outside the US?

if it happens to turn into 6+ mos. because you get lost in the Mayan's then it could be a problem
