Call the USCIS info line (number is on your notice) and follow the instructions for Change of Address. Whoever answers should be able to confirm for you that the address was changed correctly, or if it wasn't, should be able to help you get it changed.

I called the USCIS info line last week. But they said they can't check my profile due to the time lenth i file the AR11. they asked me to call back if i don't hear anything in 45 days after i file AR11. Which it has only been about 10 days.

Call the USCIS info line (number is on your notice) and follow the instructions for Change of Address. Whoever answers should be able to confirm for you that the address was changed correctly, or if it wasn't, should be able to help you get it changed.

I know i should be happy, i am just afraid that they will order the GC before they update the change of address, and the name correction.

I guess they're most likely working on your case already!

Although it might just be wishful thinking, I know that they don't follow a strict chronologic pattern. They work on batches as they come. They distribute a bunch of files among several desks and clerks. Some of these clerks might well have started to work on Jan files already. And sometimes they start from the end of the month backwards...

Also, they usually take files from 2 months and work on them altogether. I remember they had been working on Sep/Oct, then Oct/Nov, then Nov/Dec.... And now almost half of the Dec files are approved already...

As for the AR11, if you filed online, I think you won't have any problem and they'll send you your GC to the new address...

If you applied by mail, I'm not sure.

Anyhow, if they're working on your case today, they may take a few days more to mail your GC.

I don't think you should worry.

However, call USCIS again, talk to another representative (many of them are clueless about many things) and ask them what address they have on file for you. That's the one they'll send you your GC to. They have to tell you.

Again, If it was electronically changed, there is no way you have to wait 45 days. it's updated immediately

A touch does not necessarily mean you can expect an imminent approval. My application was submitted February 28. The file was touched after my biometrics in April and then, inexplicably, touched again September 10. I am still waiting and I have had no further touches. I suspect they might have been matching up the returned security check to my file.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
