Danno, read here on Reagan's tax policies and you'll realize that your argument that Obama's tax proposal is socialism is silly. The truth is in the facts right there.

Example: On the Earned Income Tax Credit: Ronald Reagan heralded it as "the best anti-poverty, the best pro-family, the best job creation measure to come out of Congress."

The problem with reading "your stuff" is; so often the facts are just wrong, wrong wrong.

( I thought it was Bush 1), when I checked, I found it was first enacted in 1975, half a decade before Reagan was even in office.

Seriously, look into the cold hard facts of Reagan's legacy and you will see that comparatively - he was just as much a socialist as Obama is being...by your logic. Now granted, it's silly logic, and that's my point. We can go on and on with this...as long as the GOP and McCain's Camp keep up this silly claim, I'll keep bringing up the naughty facts about Reagan and even McCain himself with regard to both of their attitudes towards 'redistribution of wealth' programs like progressive tax and EIC.

McCain's entire campaign is built on smears, rhetoric, half-truths & lies... and the McCainiacs eat this ####### up by the shovel full. What these tards don't realize is that the vast majority of them will actually get a larger tax cut with Obama than McCain. Take Joe the plumber (never mind he's not even a plumber)... this clown makes something like 42K a year, but because he's ignorant of the truth he thinks that Obama will raise his taxes.

If McCain wins because people actually support his policies that's fine, but if he wins because people don't know what the truth is or believe the smear campaign he's running then that's a travesty.

Obama has been gotten on the issues very well. No one cares so we are going to be soaking the rich even more. And you know what? So what if they take on a even more burdensome tax burden. They already pay most of the taxes now. It is not like they can do a damn thing about it.

But to be fair. The middle class is going to be getting a tax increase too. When they recind the Bush tax cuts that gave us in the middle class a nice tax cut then that means then we will be getting a tax increase.
