Hey Good morning you all. Does anyone knows how long it takes for the SSN and Green Cards takes to be delivered once you are in the US?

I heard that the green card can take a month or two.

My wife entered the US through LAX just over a week ago. We went to the local SSA office last week and her SSN is already in the system, although she hasn't received the actual card yet. They printed out a piece of paper with her SSN on it.

I came in about 2 weeks ago via JFK so i will go with my husband to the local SSA office to see if we can get the number.
