Hello to my VJ family,

i really need some insights here...have some question about being on AR.. :help:

i had my interview last Sep.12,2008, i got a pink slip together with a white paper which i believed it was 221g and it says there "WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM US"...and i only paid my DV right after my interview...the guy told me that it would takes around 4-6 weeks for my visa...and it's been 6weeks now.... :crying: :crying:

just last Oct.10, USEM personnel called me,asking me to submit a new NBI clearance again,'coz the one i submitted was expired last Oct.8..well, i never thought that it would take the waiting this far, that's why i never did renew my NBI before coming for the interview...so i did renew my NBI last Oct,13 and sent it to USEM and they received it by the next day, but been handed at the Consul's office by Oct.16... :bonk:

it's been 11days now after the Consul had my NBI clearance, and yet my visa is still not printed...how long would it take him to have it printed? does it really take that long to decide? it's so frustrating, where we can do nothing but to wait... :(

Sorry, I cannot help you.

But what is a NBI clearance and what do they need that for?

Good luck for having your visa soon! So far everything went smootly for you it seems, so I am sure, this is just a little delay.

I am also waiting for the result of our case and 3 weeks waiting now for my visa. Workload is their always number one reason. Since everything is computerized now and easily to track it using the computer and print it out , i dont know if the problem is with the consul officer or the computer?....I think AR means ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and not ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW...I think its okey to wait longer for the visa as long as they are making sure they will give us an assurance that we will receive a visa, THAN waiting for so long and just put on denials...that is unfair.... :crying::angry:

i really hope to have the visa soon,'coz it's eating me right now...
