My wife was born in the Philippines..her US citizenship was acquired tru her parent (from her father naturalization). Where can we apply for her original or perhaps a certified copy of her "report of birth abroad of a citizen of the united states of america (Form FS - 240)" as well as her "Certification of birth abroad of a citizen of USA" (form FS-545)? When she moved to USA, she only got a photocopy of her Form FS-545 and Form FS-240. Do you think a photocopy is alright? How about in the future interview? are they going to ask for it? Besides..she had a US passport....do you think this will be alright? Thanks in advance....

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

I would say that as long as she has her US passport, also bring along the copy of FS-545 and FS-240. In case there is a possibility of getting a certificed copy, better safe than sorry don't you think?
