Hi everybody my husband send me a copy of ds230 for me to review it in case he made any mistakes. is it ok if i correct it and answer some questions that he missed? would nvc make big deal or should i have him send the form again?

also, he had filled part 1 and part 2 and not signed part 2. is that correct? just making sure bc i dont want any rfe's.

i think you can fill in the questions he missed as long as he signs the part 1 himself. and do not sign part 2.

feb. 26,2008-----noa1

aug. 26, 2008----transferred to csc

sept. 19, 2008--- approved

NVC:

sept. 26, 2008----got case # from a live operator

oct. 6, 2008 ------received AOS bill/paid online

oct. 7, 2008 ------shows PAID

oct. 14,2008 -----IV fee generated/ paid online

oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

sept. 24, 2009 -- POE LAX

If the DS-230 has already been sent and NVC has accepted it, there may be an opportunity to correct some information at the consulate.

If you send it in again now after NVC has already accepted it, you could risk delays.

It si fine to fill out the whole form on part 1 as long as your spouse signs it. Part 2 you do not sign it until you go to the interview.

I filed for the I 130 on 1/23/08

Receipt number recevied 2/13/08

Paperwork sent to Guangzhou on 1/23/09

Interview 5/21/09 PASSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Visa 5/23/09

POE 6/2/09

Home 6/3/09

FILED I-751

SENT PAPERWORK 3/8/11

NOA-1 3/10/11

BIOMETERICS 4/29/11

WAITING APPROVAL

It si fine to fill out the whole form on part 1 as long as your spouse signs it. Part 2 you do not sign it until you go to the interview.

thanks everybody that helped me alot. I will fill out the parts he missed- I just didnt want NVC to say that there are 2 diff handwrittings. Anyhow we hadnt send it in yet because he still has to gather his documents. thanks again.
