In Albuquerque, before a massive crowd, Obama moves away from the Lone Ranger and Tonto analogy to a new one: "It’s like Robin getting mad at Batman," he says of McCain's recent efforts to distance himself from Bush.

A fire marshall puts the crowd at at least 45,000, many times that at McCain's roughly 1,000-person event a couple of miles away this morning.

McCain has lost. This is going to be a landslide loss for Republicans.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Obama had more people at his gathering because his story always changes. McCain's doesn't. He's steadfast, a maverick, and a war hero. People don't need to go to his speeches to see what he stands for *this week*.

Conservatives don't tend to be idol worshipers. Obama is the American Idol choice.

Conservatives aren't idol worshipers?

The 'Veteran'! *cheers cheers*

The "Soccer Mom"! *cheers cheers*

Give me a break, will ya.........

By the way, VW, I've had signatures turned off for several months. I got curious about yours after I had read some comments, so I decided to turn the siggies back on.

Do you realize that McCain and the Mrs. seem to be laughing at your Arab Americans For McCain banner?

Who's the sheep after all?
