If you still have a cough after nearly 2 months, how long will you have to wait for the cough to pass? You should just go to the medical. The doctors would hopefully be experienced enough to tell the difference between a cough and a more serious illness like tuberculosis.

If you've been sick since last month, have you consulted any doctor yet? Are you taking any medications? If your interview will be on Nov. 21, it would be advisable that you have your medical early atl east a month... and since you have a cough even if you wait longer to totally get clear of your cough, it "may" still show some "haziness" on the chest x-ray (since you said you still have cough). Or it could just be a post-nasal drip syndrome-> if you have colds the secretions tends to go down through your throat causing itchiness and that may be the reason why you are coughing (?). It would be advisable to have your medical as early, so in case they will subject you to more test (like sputum AFB and culture), then you still have ample time before your interview. If you wait longer and they will still subject you to this exams then they may have to postpone your interview. Sputum AFB test/culture takes about 8 weeks for the results to come in. Since you sounds like you are worried about your cough, I just hope that you had seen and consulted a doctor so you will be properly treated. If you did, then ask for a medical certification and have this ready in case the panel physician at SLEC asks for it. Just my opinion. Good Luck and God Bless.

GO see your own doctor before get your chest sounded if you got infection he gives you something to make better
