is unemployment check considered income?

Unless your co-sponsor has propertyy or other sources of income, there's a good chance that the SSI may not be sufficient to show support, you know, later when you adjust your status. It might be enough to get her here on a K-1 visa. Once she starts working, you can add her income to the mix.

i am not on K1 i am on IR1 route...well my co sponsor ssi and va disability is enough for 125% poverty but what i want to know if they considered it as income? we have a letter from ssi and va that said how much the amount everymonth and considered permanent.....
