My Dental Appt. with Jinky

This was the first time she's worked on my teeth here in the states. She's been working Wed. and Sat. at a dental clinic owned by a distant relative of hers. I just switched dental insurance and so Job and I had appointments today with Mom. Working two days a week as an assistant has helped her not get rusty. She just sent off for her foreign dentist accreditation so that she join the ADA and then begin taking the national board exams. When we became engaged, we both didn't think she'd be able to practice as a dentist here in the states because she has relatives and friends who've tried and failed. I'm just grateful that she has found the kind of support here in the states and I'm both in awe and proud of all that she's done and capable of doing. In these uncertain economic times, it will be a big relief when she can become a full fledged dentist again. :star:

(this was from my cell phone...she just took a million x-rays of my mouth)

She was treating you in your kitchen :o

Seriously, that's awesome - although I am not quite sure I would want a family member poking around in my mouth :D

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Oh...hope Ring Ring is able to get a position close to her profession...maybe ground crew at O'Hare.

I don't really want her to work, but since quitting her job Tuesday, I can see she's missing it.

Time will tell...

With the high cost of dental care these days, you're so lucky to have a future full fledged dentist in the family soon!

All kidding aside, I am sure you are so very proud of your wife and her profession. Best Wishes and much Success to her! :star:

We know who has the brains in this family. You know how they say you are attracted to the opposite, probably why Jinky was attracted to Steven.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Hope you have been brushing and flossing, Steven..... e.g. no cavities!!!!

Glad to see Jinky in the Dentistry game, albeit in limited mode. She will get her well deserved, full practice authorization. I can see it now!!!

All the best to you guys!!!

Thanks, PH. It is a bit weird having your spouse using sharp tools on your teeth...all I could do was clench tightly onto the arm rests and listen to her scold me for brushing too hard on the sides of my mouth.

Congrats, dude!

Thanks, my fellow sheep. :jest:

I'm very happy for your wifey! Congratulations

Thank you. :star:

Yay, Steven. Good for her and for you, too! Say hi to Jinky for me. How's the little one?

Thanks, sis! I sure will. Joshua is doing great - 7 mos. old now. :) Peace to you and your family.

No wonder you are a proponent for free medical care for all ... you married your dental care .. :P

lol....actually, I had to fill out all the insurance info...now discount for me. Maybe when she has her own clinic.
