I am filling out the following forms.

I-130 - $355

I-485 - $1010

I-864 - $70

I-765 - $340

Do I need a money order for each form? Or can I just get 1 money order for $2080???

Thanks for the help!

Wait!

Some of those forms are part of other fees..

What are you trying to accomplish? Are you already married? Are you adjusting status?

You can file the I-485, the I-765, and the I-131 all together (for $1010) AFTER you are married and living in the states together (assuming you got married in the States).

If you married overseas and are trying to bring your wife over, then it's a different story.. you'll go for a K-3 Visa..

So let us know what your current situation is and we can better advise...

Good luck!

Sorry.. I just looked at your profile and if I understand right, then you two are engaged...

If this is the case and you plan on getting married in the US, you file for a K1 Visa.. This K1 will get your fiance in the country for you to get married (you have to marry within 90 days of her entering on the K1 Visa).

After you are married, you file for an adjustment of status (her greencard) ...

Take a look at the guides on VJ they are very helpful!

At the top you'll see Guides as on of the tabs......check it out.

My situation.

I (US citizen) am living with Tina (German citizen) in the US. She is here on a F1 visa. We are getting married in 3 weeks and I am preparing the forms in advance.

I am filling out the I-130 for Petition of Alien Residence.

She is filling out the I-485 and subsequent forms (I-864, I-765, and I-131).

We are planning on submitting these forms together in the same packet. I am just trying to figure out how to pay the USCIS.

I filed all of those with the exception of I-131 and it came to $1,010 for I-485/I-765 together and $355 for the I-130. I believe I-765 is free when filed concurrently with I-485 now. Someone else will chime in if I am not correct. Good luck!

Oh and I forgot your question - I think it's better to write separate checks for the exact amounts then there is no confusion!

What visa are you adjusting status FROM??? K-Visas DO NOT need I-130 filed with I-485.

EAD and AP ARE INCLUDED IN THE FEE for I-485. THERE is NO fee for I-864 when filed to USCIS, ONLY when it is filed to NVC for an IMMIGRANT visa.

So fee is $1010 for (I-485+I-765+I-131+I-864) AND $355 for I-130 (ONLY if adjusting from an non immigrant visa other than K-Visa)

One exception to the I-130 is K-4 (Child) the child adjustment MAY need I-130 if one was not initially filed with parent's K-3 petition.

CODE I-765 (c )(9 ) based on the pending I-485.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
