HI GUYS!!

As you know, we are outside of USCIS processing times (6months), and we are almost 7 months (on 10/31/2008) waiting for the approval since our I-129 NOA 1,soo...we are here to ask you about HOW to file and expedite. Last week my husband called to USCIS and there, they really confirmed that we are outside the processing time, and they asked if we want to do something for to run faster our process. Offff course we want...and than he ask if we want file an expedite. We decided talk to our attorney first, and they said that is the best thing to do.

We called to our attorney and actually, we didnt understand his answer, and, because of this, we are here to ask you guys.

For to file an expedite, what do we need? What basis can we use? To be outside the processing time is enought to file an expedite, or there are others requisites that we need for to file and expedite? Do we need pay something for that? Or do we need pay more for our case go faster??

Sorry for all this questions, but we are really confuse about all this long time waiting, and without any information that can helps and go faster. We liked to see on the USCIS processing times that k3 will remain 6 months, and now, we really know that we are outside process time, sooo...our case, just like the most of you guys, is URGENT for USCIS!!

So...guys...please...explain more about file an expedite, how can we do this, if our attorney can file for us, and every information you have, ok??

Lets keep praying...I am feeling a good energy with this new processing time!

Luck for all!

An expedite usually requires some sort of special circumstances: e.g. pregnancy, military service, imminent death, etc. so I'm surprised to hear that this was recommended by a USCIS telephone operator for a case that is less than 30 days over the standard processing time. Usually they recommend a service request once the petition is 30 or more days beyond the processing time.

Hi Ninja!

Hummm...just with these circumstances?? And must pay something? This week, on October, 31th, our case will complete 7 months, so, after that, what can we do about that? A service request? How do this service works? Thanks for your answer!

Question, have you requested an inquiry for your case since it is past 7 months? Inquiry/service request is when your case is 30 days past the posted processing date, uscis puts in a request to the processing center to determine what the hold up is. Once the request is made, it then can take 30-45 more days for an answer from the center. They will give you a WTC # for this inquiry. But just know your petition must be past the processing date and also 30 days from that date, and only then will they initiate an inquiry. Good luck
