Never once stated it was true, I was commenting to VW that it was something I had just heard about this week since the subject was brought up.

Why would you ask VW to clarify something like that for you?

I might be friends with AJ, Jabberwocky, and others on here, but I don't go to them for the source of truth. If they tell me something as a fact, I still go eleswhere to confirm it.

It had nothing to do with VW clarifying it FOR me. It was something I had heard this week and I was stating it. Simple as that...

the same senario... this week I heard that a certain walmart or two in this area is going to let alot of people go. Stating that I heard this comment doesnt mean I believe it and doesnt mean i need someone to clarify it. If someones knows the real truth of the matter they are free to clarify it themselves to anyone they wish. That is exactly what happened in the first comment I made on something I just heard this week. Never stated I believed it, although I said IF it was true then...

But if you repeat something that you know is not true (ie. "He said") or if you say something that I know is not true, then it's a lie.

Insofar as your example of Wal-Mart, that's gossip and it's the damaging kind. If you had friends that worked at Wal-Mart and you repeated what you had heard in front of them (but had no proof of) you could in essence be causing them undue stress and worry.

There's no difference between what you asked VW to clarify and the Walmart example. In both cases you made an opinion or a statement based upon a 'what if'. 'What if's' are intangible and they stir fear and dread. In subscribing to them, you lower not only your argument, but your own informed consensus.

First off, I have no hatred of Obama personally. I believe hes a liberal Democrat that doesnt have many morals or experience to be the President of the USA. I would love a black, brown, tan or white man with morals, convictions and high standards to be President of our Country.

2nd Yes, GODS judgement is upon our Nation bcz our Nation continues to disregard Him. Let the next President lead our country morally and towards GOD and let GOD to fix our economy.

I see hypocrisy and judgmental behavior in there, which is quite typical of a religiously haughty person with an inferior intellect when it comes to rationality. Let's fix the economy ourselves, because "God" won't. And btw, not everyone believes in your god, so let him fix your personal economy. Maybe he can also fix your outlook.
