How can you people trust someone so young as Senator Barack Obama?

Don't you remember what happened the last time we had a young visionary president in office?

What was his name...oh yeah, that Kennedy guy. He didn't even last his entire term in office.

That should show you how dangerous a young person without the experience of John McCain can be.

John McCain has LOTS of experience. He's been in government for a VERY longtime.

I bet after all the time Senator John McCain has been in government, not one of you Obama lovers

can name a SINGLE significant thing he's done.

Shame on you. Shame on you all. John McCain is a Maverick and a War Hero, and a proud US American

with the scars to prove it.

Back to that young whipper snapper Kennedy, he sounded like a socialist too.

In his inaugural address he spoke of the need for all Americans to be active citizens, saying, "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." He also asked the nations of the world to join together to fight what he called the "common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself."

If that doesn't sound like communist socialist mushy wooshy talk, I don't know what is.

JFK is not the greatest example of a visionary this country can produce. And he provides an uncomfortable comparison with how the GOP would like to portray Obama. Remember, it is a widely known fact that JFK benefited from voter fraud in a number of places, not least Chicago, from dead people, no less.

Moreover, there are widespread suspicions that, far from being the shining white knight the world has been fed, he was mired in the dirt, with mob links, a reputed liaison with Marilyn Monroe and way more besides. But with his younger brother Robert riding shotgun as Attorney General, a lot of this never saw the light of day and remains just dirty gossip, doing the rounds every time anyone mentions him (self-fulfilling prophecy there - sorry).

I will agree that JFK sounded the real deal and he was pursuing policies, real policies that would benefit the USA. But, if he had lasted the course, I very much doubt history would have been as kind to him, as these things have a way of coming out, if the subject of the rumors isn't martyred by assassination.

So far, Obama has shown himself a charismatic speaker. But his policies are untested and, given the acceleration of the eceonomic crisis, liable to drastic change if he is elected.

Whoever wins on November 4th, watch and hope, but be prepared nonetheless. It's going to be a bumpy ride and it could be a very, very hard landing from the clouds of hope.

IMO, the idealogy and message of Robert F. Kennedy's campaign was more near like Obama's message.

And before somebody goes there - yes RFK had more political experience than Obama.

You left out how he voted against aid for babies who survived abortions. He said that if the mother wanted the child gone, doctors shouldn't interfere to save it. So they were left alone to die among medical waste. If you don't believe babies are human, Obama's your man!

It was about a hospital in Chicago that leaves babies in the 2nd or 3rd trimester, ( i think it was the 3rd trimester) to die, without food or medical attention as a way to get rid of them. - and if this is something that really is true, then all I gotta say is GODS Judgement upon America! sick sick sick! First off, I have no hatred of Obama personally. I believe hes a liberal Democrat that doesnt have many morals or experience to be the President of the USA. I would love a black, brown, tan or white man with morals, convictions and high standards to be President of our Country.

Our President has no business leading our country towards God. Churches should do that.

Our President should lead our country towards taking care of the infrastructure of the nation - and that infrastructure includes its citizenry.
