Brings back good memories; when we thought this country was invincible, terrorism existed only in Europe and 3rd world countries, the mighty dollar was the strongest currency, the European Union was a crazy idea, the bigger SUV the better, gas? well nobody talked about gas, having stocks in Wall Street was a smart idea, capitalism was awesome, 401K was there for you for when you retired, and at the end...everything was possible as long as you had a dream.

We've come a long way, haven't we?

Think about this on November the 4th, stop, think about this, and remember the type of life you used to have in 2000. How the beginning of a millennium seemed like the beginning our a bright new millennium for this great country of ours and after that cast your vote.

Yeah, life under Clinton was so grand. Let's go back to impeachment proceedings and Monica Lewinski, so the nation can be distracted from what was really happenind in the world.

Why do people think that anything done to our affect our econmic situation today, has an immediate result? The economy takes a while to react to changes, and that's why it is important not to make drastic changes, because by the time they take affect, you won't know for certain their impact.

Was the last 8 years any better? Hell no. I'm not sure that either one of these two guys running for president can fix the mess we're in, and that is my dilema. McCain is an idiot, and Obama is scary. Lets just hope that whoever wins, they will put aside partisan politics and actually fix this nation.
