Please help, I'm new here, I can't tell if I'm repeating a question someone else has asked before.

I am a South African citizen, currently in the UK on working holiday visa.. I'm a 30 years old. My mother is a US citizen, so are my 2 young brothers (under 21). My boyfriend is a Zimbabwean citizen who is as Asylee in the US for almost a year now and will be applying to become a permanet resident in a month's time.

My mother received an i797 notice for my petition last month. The priority date is April 13, 2008. I really want to come to the US now I can't afford to wait here any longer. I miss my family very much and my boyfriend and I want to get married but we don't want to do anything to joepardise the application process.

What can we do (or what options do we have) to expedite my coming to the US. Would it help the application if we get married here in England this December?

Also my visa for the England expired over a month ago, I've applied for an extension and am still waiting. The extension can only be for 6 months, after which I have to leave England, and thus I am worried whethere or not it will affect my US citizenship application.

Sorry for the long question. I do hope you can help me. Thank you.

Can your Employer transfer you to their US operation. Do you have skills in short supply in the US.

Nothing else comes to mind.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
