Just a little glitch Laura! Get it back quickly and you'll hear something soon! How is Nick's job hunting going? Hope things are looking up for you two soon!

Thanks Carla :)

We mailed off the RFE on Saturday so that's done.

Nick is currently getting unemployment and looking to go back to school....I think this could be just what he needs.

Both of us are doing fine though...our relationship is so strong and we are very happy.

Thanks for thinking of me!

Sometimes being unemployed has it's perks. It sometimes is a wonderful opportunity to take a look at what you're doing and say..."hey, I've always wanted to go back to school..." Best of luck to him finding something he'd really love to do!

Glad to hear you're both doing good as well Laura. Love you!

Well...

Mailed back the RFE on Saturday. It was delivered there on Tuesday and nothing has even been updated or touched on USCIS.gov.

It doesn't even show that I had an RFE, that's why I didn't know until I got the actual paper in the mail.

Strange!!

They received my RFE on Tuesday and I've noticed touches on the AOS for the last 3 days. Today, the site indicated that it has been transferred to CSC.

My EAD has only been touched once and that was either because the RFE had been received or the bio was received or maybe both. Who knows with government ppl?

You should see touches happening once your bio reaches them, I would think. I hope so!!

Stuff on the site doesnt always get updated! I never say a thing on my cr-1! And for naturalization i had 1 update, and that was the initial one!! One can't rely or loose sleep over what the online system states!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Well you are right BH...

I was touched today for both my AOS and EAD because of my Biometrics and they finally updated my AOS saying they sent me an RFE requesting further evidence.

My RFE arrived there on Tuesday.

I hope they update it soon! :)
