That's all, if you submitted the W2s and 1040 and that is all he submitted, you should be good. He didn't have any other income, no interest or anything, no other slips?

If not a phone call should clear up whatever is missing.

Sorry to hear, Laura. I hope you can find out quick and easy what it is they want. I'm sending to you and Nick lots of good vibes.

T4? did you mean W4? unfortunately just resend the copy of 1040 filed, we sent both Federal and State copy just to be sure. Did you make sure your case number was written across the top? Word of advise.... always make sure case number is written across the top of ALL (every single piece of paper) you send to them.. that way if any paper is misplaced, they easily know what file it goes with, because without a doubt with all their work they are not going to go the extra step to research what file it goes in. They just send out RFE saying they didnt get it grrrr

Also I agree call customer service and tell them you already sent it... when it happened to us, I called and low and behold they did indeed have what they were requesting and they said to never mind (although I did resend just incase)

We call them T4's in Canada. Just so you know. Sometimes when you move from one country to another you still call it what you knew it as. For example: I still call it a SIN number not an SSN number. :P

Laura, I am so sorry that things are going smoothly for you right now. I hope this all clears up. Give them a call, they could have just overlooked it.

Well, sweet Laura, all I can add is this:

BREATHE

Take a huge ultra deep breath and let it out extremely slowly....

Believe me I have been having to do this often.

We really are doing things together aren't we?

Sorry about the RFE. When I received mine, all they asked for was the supporting tax documentation. I only sent in Larry's 1040 and not copies of his W-2. I fixed that yesterday and sent it off certified mail so they should have it next week.

Thanks all :)

Your support means so much....

I kept thinking, what did I send, what did I send and now I know what I did wrong....

Nick had his 1040 stapled together with a summary sheet and other information that he printed from online....and I only photocopied the coversheet with the summary of what his income was, etc. etc. I don't think I actually mailed them the 1040....DUH!!!

So I'll just photocopy it and send it back in...so stupid.

And yes, when I said T4's I meant W2's....lol It's hard getting use to things!!! :)

Love to you all :star:
