Good riddance to them all. All the eastern pseudo-conservatives who have folded to Obama are more concerned about falling off the politico black tie dinner circuit than they are with holding to an ideology that has given them a good living. Image and connections are what the Washington-NY social corridor thrives on.

Yeah, they're mostly "heartland" politicians. What does that say about the heartland again?

Once again we are graced by the presence of the 'lone voice of reason'. I am sure many of us share a sense of gratitude that you have so stoically resisted the temptation of 'coolaid' and are waiting in the wings to lead us all to salvation when the time is right.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I stated my point of view, you take it any way you want. Obama wants to lead you to salvation; that's a bit above my pay grade.

Nope, I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe that Barack views himself as the road to any type of salvation. The only people who refer to him as 'The Messiah' seem to be those who buy into the conspiracy theories. As I clearly said in another thread, nothing wrong with being a conservative, nothing wrong with voting republican or for McCain but it is very, very wierd to bolster one's choice to do so, not with solid policy reasons but by promoting spurious conspiracy theories about the opposition. As to how to take your point of view - I don't think that's a mystery to anyone.

Some are merely reaching very far to justify their vote for McCain.

His record and positions must not be good enough. So these outlandish character assassinations are the only way.
