Occured only 20 mins from my house. Ive never been to Englewood but i have heard horror stories about it froma friend of mine who grew up there. Condolences to her family. To bury 3 people in the same week is not something a family should have to go through.

Its a very bad neighborhood. I wonder why the family would want to stay there after having Ms Hudson earn enough to get them out.

An aunt of the actress also owns a local funeral home that will handle the ceremonies. So sad.

The neighborhood is NOT a battleground, and had nothing to do with the crime. This was a domestic crime. It could have happened in Beverly Hills.

Even wealthy neighborhoods are not immune to bad choices, evil people, or domestic crime.

I absolutely agree.

Englewood, like Lawndale, are two neighborhoods I'd rather not risk living in if I had the means to pull my individual family out. Of course- if I had the funds to handle the entire communities then perhaps things would be different.
