McCain and the Republican National Committee reported having a combined $84 million as of last week to spend before Election Day.

...

McCain's Oct. 1-15 filing showed that the campaign paid $22,800 to Palin's traveling stylist, Amy Strozzi, an acclaimed celebrity makeup artist. In contrast, McCain's foreign policy adviser, Randy Scheunemann, was paid $12,500, the report showed.

Maybe she should've paid that to a personal advisor or publicist so she wouldn't sound so stupid on T.V.

Now that, would've been money well spent.

I could care less if she's wearing designer clothes and having Hollywood types doing her makeup.

Except she keeps saying she's 'everywoman'.

That's where it bugs me.

...and John Edwards got raked over the coals for spending $200 on a haircut.

I see a double standard here.

This is hilarious!

The haircut was $400.00. There will be no tolerance of revisionist history here! :jest:

hehehe...actually, I read that he had two haircuts and both of them cost around $240. John Edwards could have turned that one around on his critics and mentioned the salary of that hair stylist. I'll bet he/she doesn't make as much as Joe Plumber. :jest:
