I called for my medical appt today. The lady said it is a 2 office visit (which I knew). She said it will take 2 weeks in between and they could not get me in until the 20th. I am assuming my interview is going to be before that. She then told me to go to my dr. and get an hiv and syphilis test, a rubella titre and chest xray. Bring them with and I won't have to pay for the xray or blood work and won't have to return for a second visit!!

Why don't they tell everyone this? Such a waste to drive there twice!

I am glad she told me though, that will save a lot of time and money.

Are you serious? It was noted in Dr. Seiden's website (I think?) -- that's where I'd gone, just this morning -- that NO ONE, except for the appointed medical places, is allowed to do the chest x-rays or blood tests.

I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere... either on Dr. Seiden's website, or on USCIS's website.

Yep I asked her like 5 times if that was ok. She said yes.

Maybe they made an exception you because if you don't you will not have your envelope in time for the interview. But I will be headed to Saskatoon for my medical eventually, so if it is possible for everyone going to him to do that, then that is great!!
