hello.

soon I am going to have my CR1 interview.

Many years back I have applied for US non immigrant visa and I was denied and during those days they dont have fingerprint system in the embassy so they just stamp US VISA APPLIED on..........

And I lost that passport and now I have a new passport from which I have travel to many nations. This new passport doesnt have any connection with the old passport . And the thing is that during my coming interview if the CO asked me a question have you applied for US visa before and what sall I say to CO YES OR NO.

Can evrybody please clear me in this doubt..........

thanks

why would you lie and say "No"?

the answer to your question is very obvious, do not lie on any stage of this process.

It wasn't asked during my interview. (But that's on a case-to-case matter.) But a similar question will be asked in your DS-230 form wherein you'll be asked if you've applied for a visa in a fraudelent or illegal manner.

IMO, what is critical is that if you have applied for a visa illegally or fraudulently and not having applied for a tourist visa but deing denied due to lack of proof of evidence to return.

Below is a link to a DS-230 form. Read section 30 especially sub-section F.

Hope this helps. :)

let me ask u whats the US non immigrant visa ur saying what type of visa is that? is that K1/Fiancee visa?

well they are right u dont need to lie, even if u will lie they will still found it out, cuz they have your records on there date base, no matter how many years it was already. i also had a previous petitioned before, able to used my visa, but i went back home before my 90 days is over. now last sep 18 was my interview, and during my pre interview to a filipino CO, she able to asked me what happened to my previous relationship, so means they all have the record keep on there hard drive, means no matter what they will knew the truth about it. and also i surrender my old passport with my old visa. cuz the CO asked me about that. well i hope everything will turn fine with u.

let me ask one more, did u able to use that passport? and what in that passport anyway? did usem put something there when u get denied?
