I will go with ManilaIdaho and Uday( set up by Debbie ofcse ) (pray for us )

Guys, help me find a good hotel to stay during my two days medical appointment.

If possible near SLEC with Internet connections and ofcse clean and comfortable.

Every suggestions will be highly appreciated

I've stayed at Lotus Garden Hotel many times before, which is very close to USEM and SLEC and also the boulevard and Robinson's Mall. Rooms go for between 2000 and 4000 pesos per night.

I plan on checking into a hotel too with my 5-year-old when our medicals are due. I live in far-off Fairview and having to go back and forth 2 days (or a possible 3) in a row would be very taxing for both of us. Within walking distance of SLEC would be good and , yes, clean, comfy and with Internet connectivity. Oh, and of course, secure.

hindi ako nakapunta kasi wala pa akong interview schedule, i thought it would be wise to go for the physical kung may interview appointment na, hay tagal ng appointment letter namin, inip inip inip...

buti ka pa may interview appointment na, goodluck sis!

Aloha! I wasn't able to come also. Debbie and her son went this afternoon.

I am really worried coz I have colds and yanno how SLEC is when it comes to xray.

Hey girl! ask your fiance to call USem. That's what we did and until now I haven't received anything from USE.

I tried to call twice and I was told that they dpn't usually send hard copy of the appointment letter once they have sent email confirmation.

My advice sis is to let ur fiance call them coz they are more accommodating with USC than us, sad but true.

That's what I've read from this site before.

actually tumawag na siya ulit kahapon, pangalawang beses na yun, naconsume na nga namin yung $18 pin, first call namin was october 23, then yun nga, yung kahapon, october 27, try ulit niyang tumawag this friday, baka sakaling bigyan na nila kami ng schedule, sana nga, masyado lang talaga kaming atat siguro nyahahahaha...

how about you, kelan kayo binigyan ng appointment for interview ng USEM?

and kelan mo balak magpamedical?

I'm planning to have my medical 2nd wk of november. I want to make sure na ni isang phlegm wala silang makikita sa xray ko

I don't want to do that sputum test thingy since i am pretty sure i am healthy (hopefully I pass that medical )

But yanno... still they will be the one to decide

My fiance called USem last 10/22, afterwards I got email confirmation. We were told that NVC sent our case to USE 10/8, until now I have not received that letter from USE, as I've said we called twice USE and was informed that I wont received any hard copy anymore.

I'm still worried about this Medical appointment... with this kind of weather, you know, a lot get cough and colds... I am taking Vit C 1000MG

hehehehe... just to be sure... drink a lot of sterilized milk too juices rich in vit c... I hope these work

I've checked CityState Hotel online, wow, looks pretty good. Did you go to this hotel and liked it too?

not yet.. but I went there and indeed it was just walking distance to SLEC and I've checked the room twas good.. I made my reservation personally to check the place too..

twas a good place for me I think..

We stayed at Euro Hotel

Price was 1200 pesos and very nice american sized rooms.

Less than 5 minutes via Taxi from US Embassy and SLEC.

yeah that sputum test really sux, imagine ate bheng, she waited two months for the result of that, oh well, just try to get well soon and hopefully you can pass your physical, sana magkasabay tayo sa SLEC kaso panigurado mauuna ka, anyway, good luck ulit, as for me, we will try to call again this coming friday 10/31, just to see if they will give us an appointment schedule, myged that's another 18 bucks but what the heck!

It's still cheaper than for you to call them... I was charged P55 a min and those operators talk really slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...
