Hi all!

My husband got his NOA1 around Sept 20th and we haven't received anything else. Seems to me the biometrics letter should have come by now. Should we call or email or just see what happens?

Thanks!

Hmmm....that's strange. I do know that VCS gets the dates of the offices and it depends on the availability of the office around you. Where is you local office? I would check if someone else has the same office and go from there.

My wife got her NOA1 on Sept 19 and she has not received biometric appointment either. Calling USCIS is usless, in my opinion. I am not sure how to contact them via email. Infopass appointment may help.

I also sent our petition mid September to CSC - have received the NOA and 1- year extension - thank God!!!!

But I was wondering about my Biometrics appointment too - I have not received anything yet about that.

Was going to wait 2 more weeks and then call - just to make sure nothing got lost in the mail.

But it seems like there are more people who sent in the same time and have not received an appointment yet.

Wanted to go for a visit back home in December but not sure if I should go ahead and book the flight - Yet....I might wait another week or so.

Everyday I am checking the mail and nervous but nothing :-(

Are they backed up with the appointments maybe?

Looks like the CSC processing times are 6 month now.

Hopefully we will all hear something soon!

I sent in my package on the 29 of august, (Filing on waiver grounds) and got NOA 1 3 days later and got my Biometrics on the 15th of sept , I sent package to CSC, I can tell you they are fast, I would suggest after 1 month of NOA1, you call them and explain or go to your local office to see with them

It is very interesting that a few of us are in the same boat. My local field office is in Cincinnati, I assume the field office is where you would go for this. Since I have a receipt number I tried to check his status, but it said it wasn’t available… as I understand on the NOA1 a status will not be available until the bio appointment is made? I agree calling will do little, maybe I’ll try email.

My field office is in Des Moines. I tried to check online as well but from what I have read it seems like you can only look up your case online after the biometrics or the invite letter.

Since here are a few more that are waiting I don't think the letter got lost in the mail maybe they are having some delay issues with certain offices?

Which e-mail address will you mail to?

I have seen a couple of cases so far it took more than 2 month for the biometric appointment - wondering why these are different?

Thanks!

It kinda makes me think they are getting backed up now too - since there are a few of us in the same situation.

I check the mail everyday as well - getting really nervous about it but at least its not just one person this is happening to.

I will wait a few more weeks as well and then maybe contact our representatives office and see if they can do anything.

Anyone received an appointment letter yet?

I called USCIS toll free number from their website and talked to a representative about me not receiving my biometrics appointment letter yet. She said that an applicant should receive that letter within 30 days of the notice date on NOA1 (797C notice of action). So what she did, she took some information about me like my Alien number, Receipt number, Date of birth, Name, Home address, Phone number, Email address, etc. She said she would send a letter to the service center letting them know that I have not received anything. They would contact me(I hope so) within 45 days and if nothing happens, then call back.

Hope this would help all of us. Just try it instead of going for infopass because your location might be too far from the center. LOL just like me, I would have to travel almost 4 hours just to go there! YAY!

Goodluck!

I sent out my package on 10/8 by DHL courier to CSC, they received on 10/9, my check was cashed on 10/10, NOA1 was received on 10/16, Biometros appointment was received on 10/23 for appointment set up on 11/6.

I guess the letter should send to you by now (any possibility for the letter lost?), you'd better make info pass to check with USCIS.
