hi everybody..had a long day today..went to SMEF-COW and CFO, bought a balikbayan box for stuffs i need to bring to the US, paid bills and some other side-trip errands for my mom..but even if i'm really tired, there are a lot of stuffs i need answers to, i do hope you guys don't mind..

to begin..

i'm bound to leave on the 10th of november for Las Vegas, my POE happens to be Hawaii (Honululu to be exact). i haven't been to this airport ever, went through LAX and JFK before but never hawaii..

*are the immigration staff friendly?

*is hawaii a good POE (based on personal experience if any..)

*i have 4hours until my flight to Las Vegas from Hawaii, IS THAT ENOUGH TIME for immigration process/clearing?

*do i get my bag BEFORE i head for immigration (POE interview or something) or AFTER?

*do i need to check in my luggage AGAIN for my flight to Las Vegas?

*do i need to pay for excess baggage from hawaii to las vegas since this is already a domestic flight? (considering the domestic flight baggage allowance..)

*is hawaii airport that big for me to literally get LOST? lol..i know this sounds silly..

i'm really sorry for bugging you guys this late, i know some are spending time with family right now..but i'd appreciate some helpful tips on this little problem of mine.

thanks for future answers.. :innocent:

Hi Gurl, Hawaii was one of my lay over last January but Guam was my POE..Hawaii is not quite big but I heard they have nice people from the Immigration, about the baggage, its depend on the airlines, if they are using the same plane going to LV, I guess you don't need to get worry about your stuff anyways they will tell on the plane if you need to transfer you luggage or so. about excess baggage, if it is okey from the Phils no worry about it. and the pocket money, if you will do some shopping i guess you need some but if for some snacks no need to bring much, I wasn't able to spend $3 but I had $220 that time..have a safe trip..

I noticed that you are already a jetsetter so I don't need give much advice re: checking of stuff at Manila, actually they are more strict than US airports, US airports are particular only with your visa, they don't check much about your stuff so you can bring what you want as long as you can carry it and you can still walk with poise..lol!!! kasi baka maging "kampanerang kuba ang drama mo..lol

don't bother gurl if you can't make it, I was just teasing..just bring your important stuff esp your favorite clothes or shoes kahit mura mga damit dto , im sure meron ka particular stuff..what airlines mo ba?don't bring too much handcarry para di ka na magbitbit sa plane, bring jacket din baka malamig na that time, ako handcarry ko ay ang packet, jacket, 1 magazine, 1 shirt (incase gusto mo magpalit, but di ko dn nagamit)at cellphone, un kasi malinaw na instruction ng jowa, at isang maleta lang talaga ako kahit allowed me ng 2..but if you'll bring so much stuff , better check the weight na jan pa lng sa cebu para di ka na magbawas sa airport..

I have Aunt nga pala sa Vegas at nagkaroon na me new friend na taga CEbu din..
