Good Morning MENA

I just found out about the bad thing about working from home... you can't escape it, your work is never done, and you are on call 24/7 anytime your spouse wants to discuss work and needs something from you

We got into such a big fight last night that I feel like I lost my husband - both of us are just broken hearted today and it feels like he has emotionally disconnected from me I know underneath it all he cares bc he is still holding my hand or kissing me goodbye, but other than that it's just sadness from both of us. We are both too stressed and I have no escape (he takes the car during the day) I just exploded last night when he confronted me and he says I broke his heart and now it's breaking mine. I feel like I am being punished for not controlling my temper and not being perfect. He feels more distant today than he did when he was half a world away.

Awwww im so sorry HUGS.....just begin with reconnecting with him again....he will feel better knowing u wdnt leave him sad like that and in return he will open his heart to u!! Think of the make up afterwards its always the best of all lol cheer up hun

Probably TMI but - Last night he was trying to sleep on our love seat (6'4" guy ) and didn't want to come to bed, but I sat on the floor next to the love seat with him until he gave up (3hrs later) and came to bed. He has back problems and works hard, I couldn't bear the thought of him sleeping like that on top of everything else. He hugged me and went to sleep with his arm around me - at least that's something, but this morning he was pretty cold just in general

Inshalla it will get better gradually, I just feel like I broke it. But really, nothing will change until he realizes that he really does make me feel like sh!t about once a day. Of course he jokes with me and tries to make it better, but I can't take the daily hints about how I'm not trying hard enough or how I'm lazy or just plain playing around with the business because I am trying to learn as I go. It's just plain depressing and hurtful. I try as hard as I can, but it's obviously not good enough because he is just fed up with me and the mistakes I make

Maby I should go see a therapist bc apparently this is my problem

Tonight I am making his favorite dinner (I put the lamb to marinate last night before the fight) - maby we can sit down to a nice dinner together and try to reconnect

I think u shud nicely tell him all that! He needs to understand how u feel and how hard u re trying becoz obviously he cant c it! Then u both can reach a common ground on how to get things done! Hopefully when he comes back from work he wd be feeling better n cooler than last night.

*hugs* I hate it when that happens. But just know that it's normal and part of any relationship. When you do make up it will help you both realize how much you love each other and sometimes small things just aren't worth it!

Amir is getting sooo big!!!!! I love the new pic!

There was one time my hubby and I didn't speak 1 word to each other for 7 days straight. We wouldn't even make eye contact when passing in the hallway and it was absolute TORTURE. We did end up making-up but it was not an easy road. Sadly enough this is not uncommon in intercultural relationships ESPECIALLY situations as ours are.

Mine also is a "hint dropper" and it has been known to make me feel like "poo" many-a-time. I basically learned to just look at him, stop him right there, and say "hey, when you say that to me, it is coming off really rude and is not the proper way to address the woman you are supposed to love". He is still in the process of learning how to communicate his stressers towards myself/my son without being so harsh. At first he would say "oh you are too sensitive" or "what is wrong if I tell the truth"... My response to that is that the truth can be told without hurting somebody. And yes, I'm sensitive but no more than any other woman. Even arabian girls are sensitive but many are not "allowed" to voice that opinion but maaaaaaaaan u get them in a room of women and listen to their lips rattle about how po'ed they are about what their hubby said/did to them......

mine has slowly been coming around and yours will too ensha'allah.
