What is the typical time between NOA1 and the biometrics letter? Looks like some people are getting them right away (within a week)...

Also, if we filed AOS and EAD at same time is there 2 seperate biometrics or just 1?

BIO is typically 1 month after filing: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aoslis...p8=All&xfr=

2 different biometrics, one is thumb print (EAD) other is Ten fingers (AOS).

If you get both letters before biometrics, bring both letters to first bio appointment and perhaps they will do both at the same time.

Wait 2 more weeks, then if no letter, some have said they simply visited nearest ASC and did them walk in.

ok thats good to know... can I call one of these ASC's... what is the possibility that they will allow the walk-in cause the closest one I see still aint that close to me.

Your NOA1 letters should have the biometric codes on it.

Like ASC Code: 2 or ASC Code: 3

Code 1 is 10 fingerrprints

Code 2 is one finger and photo

Code 3 is all of the above.
