An older gentleman had an appointment to see the urologist who

Shared offices with several other doctors. The waiting room was filled

With patients.

As he approached the receptionist's desk, he noticed that the

Receptionist was a large unfriendly woman who looked like a Sumo

Wrestler. He gave her his name.

In a very loud voice, the receptionist said,

"YES, I HAVE YOUR NAME HERE;

YOU WANT TO SEE THE DOCTOR ABOUT IMPOTENCE, RIGHT?"

All the patients in the waiting room snapped their heads around

To look at the very embarrassed man.

He recovered quickly, and in an equally loud voice replied,

'NO, I'VE COME TO INQUIRE ABOUT A SEX CHANGE OPERATION,

BUT I DON'T WANT THE SAME DOCTOR THAT DID YOURS.'

DON'T MESS WITH OLD FOLKS.

We do have one good news, one ray of light in all this darkness: the Secretary of one of the Senators we contacted called my fiance, and told him the CSC officer said we were out of the background checks, he is only waiting to get some more info from us (the RFE that has to do with us meeting, and us meeting in the past 2 years)

So, at least we won't get to hear the "background checks" story anymore.

Well, I sure hope so! We got a letter from the Senator stating that on March 25 we were out of the background checks, so there is no reason for not getting our NOA2 in the next days!

hi guys!!! we have the interview date!!! may 11, i cant believe how now everithing is moving fast!!! we going do the medical next week.

I'm so happy tomorrow i travel to Honduras in central america to visit my fiance, we going to spend a few days whit our son, and got new energy to the last part of this journey!!

Hello all I know there's a lot of tension around here but still here it is:

Traveling down the interstate and needing to use the restroom,(toilet)

I stopped at a rest area and head to the restroom.

I was barely sitting down when I heard a voice from the other stall

saying:

"Hi, how are you?"

I'm not the type to start a conversation in the restroom and I don't know

what got into me, but I answered, somewhat embarrassed,

"Doin' just fine!"

And the other person says:

"So what are you up to?"

What kind of question is that? At that point, I'm thinking this is too

bizarre so I say:

"Uhhh, I'm like you, just traveling!"

At this point I am just trying to get out as fast as I can when I hear

another question.

"Can I come over?"

Ok, this question is just too weird for me but I figured I could just be

polite and end the conversation. I tell them

"No..I'm a little busy right now!!!"

Then I hear the person say nervously...

"Listen, I'll have to call you back. There's an idiot in the other stall

who keeps answering all my questions

Good here overall (work has been annoying). Our interview is May 7, my fiancee had her medical this past week and her dress is almost finished so we're about done. Her mom got a tourist visa to come here for the wedding so that should be cool.

hey guys. We finally got our noa2 in the mail! Yeah!! It was dated 3/31/09 but status online still says pending. Whatever.

Now I'm confused. The noa2 says it was forwarded to the listed consulate. Is is really forwarded there or does it have to go to the nvc first? Of course the nvc hasn't received it and csc says they have no record of where it was sent!!

I saw some other post that said their noa2 letter said it was forwarded to the nvc. Mine does not say that. Just curious for those of you that have received yours ,what did it say?

mine says it was sent to NVC. I have heard others on here say that their noa2 letter said the same as yours...but still all cases do go thru nvc. give nvc a call n see wat they say (u will need to talk to a live person, the automated thing doesnt work...it just says they cant find your file). but they will be able to tell u wen/if it was received n sent overseas.

forget about dealing with csc and uscis from now on.

nvc: 1-603- 334-0700 Call them monday (they should have ur file by now. i think they are open late, like i think til 11pm est.
