Sara - just want you to know that I am still here and thinking about you every single day. There are no words to express how sad I am for you.

I wish things could work out for you the way that you want. But if they don't I do know a TON of GREAT doctors from India so you will be in good hands there! Hopefully this petition will shake things up for you. I hate to see you have to move your whole family to India because our U.S. goverment won't do their job!

Hugs!

I just wanted to stop by here to let you know that we are willing to help out in any way that we can. The wait is so tough on us...and it blows my mind to think how strong both of you are to go through all that you already have...just no way for my mind to grasp how you guys hold up...i know how hard it is to be so far away...just wanted to let you know that you are in our prayers. May Allah bless you both and grant you guys the happiness you deserve soon.

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND EVERYONE!

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible. The little girl said, 'When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah'.The teacher asked, 'What if Jonah went to hell?' The little girl replied, 'Then you ask him.'

We do have one good news, one ray of light in all this darkness: the Secretary of one of the Senators we contacted called my fiance, and told him the CSC officer said we were out of the background checks, he is only waiting to get some more info from us (the RFE that has to do with us meeting, and us meeting in the past 2 years)

So, at least we won't get to hear the "background checks" story anymore.

Another good thing is that CSC seems to process RFEs a lot faster than VSC. So you should be out of that hell hole soon.

I just wish they stop making those silly "security checks" excuses and get on with the job they are paid to do.... either approve the petitions or deny them but don't leave people in a limbo, just waiting and holding onto their sanity with a fingertips. It is difficult enough to carry on a long distance relationship without the strain of USCIS processing...

I really hope they pull out their hands and start approving the "old timers".

Good luck everybody.

HERE YA GO:

An older gentleman had an appointment to see the urologist who

Shared offices with several other doctors. The waiting room was filled

With patients.

As he approached the receptionist's desk, he noticed that the

Receptionist was a large unfriendly woman who looked like a Sumo

Wrestler. He gave her his name.

In a very loud voice, the receptionist said,

"YES, I HAVE YOUR NAME HERE;

YOU WANT TO SEE THE DOCTOR ABOUT IMPOTENCE, RIGHT?"

All the patients in the waiting room snapped their heads around

To look at the very embarrassed man.

He recovered quickly, and in an equally loud voice replied,

'NO, I'VE COME TO INQUIRE ABOUT A SEX CHANGE OPERATION,

BUT I DON'T WANT THE SAME DOCTOR THAT DID YOURS.'

DON'T MESS WITH OLD FOLKS. :jest:
