Everyone that I talk too I tell them it will take 6 - 8 months to get a K1 or K3 Visa. 6 months is minimum wait time, but I have seen much longer.

why did it not take that long for the ones that are already approved and just filed in november and approved in febuary

while we are at the 7 month period sure looks like descrimination to me.

Thank you guys!!!!! i miss PB&JAM to celebrate together!!!! but i dont sing victory yet , when the NVC send the case to the Guatemala Embassy , we are really celebrate!!

my fiance call to the NVC last night, nobody answer the phone, so the enter the number case at the automated voice, but say they dont found our case, so.......i dont wanna be paranoic, but it past a week since the approval (27-2) so ? i guess patience no?

where i found this? and you think that VCS send more faster the case to NVC ? btw in which state is NVC located?

It is difficult to call them during the day. If you are K1, you need to talk to a person there to find your case. Try calling later at night; you'll need to wait but you can get through and they are worlds nicer than US CIS.

Yes you right, NVC is in NH , and this is beside Vermont, so thats why the cases arrived more faster from VCS!! Cali is so far away!!, thanks for the tip, now i going drive crazy my fiance whit the NVC affair

But then they totally lost our file and Chris and I are re-filing this week so we will be March filers I suppose..... we have been informed by a USCIS employee that we should expedite our case though so that is a positive.

On the positive I am going to attempt POE into the US for a rather extended (3 month) holiday on the 31st of March. Wish me luck all

Thanks everyone! I really thought my day would never come! Yeah, last Friday the congressman told me they found out I will be in security checks for a LONG time, then I was APPROVED on MONDAY! I went to the infopass on TUESDAY and they had absolutely no idea it was approved! This system is Sooo messed up! And No one knows ANYTHING! Everyone has a different story.

I'm just happy this part is over and hopefully by Summer I will have my man back here with me!

Congratulations to everyone that got the NOA2 within the last weeks. There have been so many approvals!!! It makes me very happy to see that.

My So has been here in Germany with me for the last 3 weeks. We`ve had our engagement party/German wedding here on Saturday. Our parents also met this way and it was wonderful. Now we are just hoping to get our NOA2 soon.

But those last approval really made us hope!

This is a great thread! All the comments are so nice and supporting. Noone in here deserves to wait for such a long time.
