Thanks Don... but don't count on it. Adriano and I are losing hope. We used to be so positive, but the system has really gotten us down. Do you think they do this on purpose to try to make us give up? We have no clue what the problem is... I've said it before and I'll say it again, we've both worked for DISNEY in CHILDREN'S programs... So I'm sure if there's any dirt to find that would keep us from getting this visa, they would have found it.... So we just don't know what else to do! A move to Brazil might be coming up in my very near future. Good luck to you... fill me in on everything Rio!

And did I SERIOUSLY see a NOA-2 from someone with a NOA-1 of 7/25 on Igor's?!?!? You've GOT to be KIDDING me! That's gotta be a typo!

You guys! Someone's gotta pull me out of this deep dark depressive hole I'm in...

CSC really seem to be dragging... Hal spoke to them today to see if he could get any update on our case and their new excuse was that they stopped processing K1's briefly to allow them to catch up on some other stuff and they're just getting back on track. They also said they don't process in order if someone has a wedding date coming up or something like a funeral to attend... Anyone heard these before? Also he spoke to the congressman who said they couldn't do anything until after the elections so maybe next week we'll see some movement... As much as it doesn't seem it, we're all going to be approved soon and we'll look back on this and laugh when we're all together with our SOs... I'm just waiting for that day!

So I just got off the phone with a USCIS officer, and apparently our case is "under review." He doesn't have the information as to why it's under review (but says that it's not in the normal process). He kept asking me if I'd filed a I129F before or if he's had one filed for him before, which is a no, but he says to keep calling once a month until we find something. He said that it could be another 6 months, although he hopes it won't be. And that there's nothing I can do to move it along any faster. At least it's more information that I've had so far. Wish I was better news. Sigh.

I called and spoke to Cust Serv, and she said that my file still said it was within the current processing times, although it wasn't, so she transferred me to "someone who can override that." and turned out to be a very nice officer. He was very sympathetic, but unfortunately didn't have any further info as to when we could expect news. So, I got lucky I guess? Sorry I don't have any better way!

I think I talked to that "Officer" before too, very nice and sympathetic but in the end did nothing for me and had NO information. I think it was just another Customer Service rep. I think they were playing GoodCop/Bad Cop Because the customer service chick was a total ######.

Heart that song!! "Lucky" is good too!

How about this one, A little Michael Buble

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPUJIbXN0WY

"Whatever comes our way, we'll see it through, cause you know that's what our love can do."

Makes me smile... cause someday I'll be dancing with my noivo, and this "journey" will fade away!

And P.S. if you haven't already(and you're on the petitioner side), GO VOTE!!!!!!!!

"I Promise You" by Judith Owen..

Though I'm far dear, though were parted,

I know that time can change nothing.

So if you feel afraid, and if your hope is gone,

Just remember all these things I promise you.

I will move heaven,

I will move hell and earth to be where you are.

I will move heaven,

And it might take my life,

It might take forever,

But I promise you.

Lovely song. :)
