Well we got a touch again!! no status change though. We arent getting our hopes up. :wacko:

Wait until Monday, you'll have the status changed by that time if it's NOA2. And it's about time for you guys for this particular good news.

I'm not sure, it could be the result of the Senator asking questions...we'll see. Thanks though. :star:

2/24/09: NA02 APPROVAL... finally, after 9 MONTHS & 8 DAYS!!

5/5/09 : Interview Date APPROVED!!!!

5/8/09: visa received

From NA01 to interview: 12 LONG MONTHS!!

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

AOS

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Here we go again...

10/14/11: Biometrics

7/2/12: Approved. New Card Ordered

lol My fiance and I always joke that they are taking so long, hoping that we will quit the process and break up so they wont have to do any work. They sit around for a couple of years doing nothing............

Looks like Ill be formally join y'all in the coming weeks :(

Don't mean to be blue about it but lets face it nobody in here really wants to be here...

Chris got our NOA1 today when he went to visit their office.... We only filed in August so thats ok... looks like USCIS no longer has access to our case and doesn't know why... and well it's all just a big mess.

So.... how is everyone here????

Gosh, you just now got your NOA1!? What’s the date of notice? Back in August or just now? I’m really hoping you don’t have to join this thread!

It's dated in August (as far as I know, Chris is scanning it through to me so I have the offical date this week)

But as for our File, well it had to go to DISCO and what not and now USCIS doesn't know where it is and are investigating it, and Chris has a work mate's buddy who works for DISCO looking into it at his end, who is getting in contact with a mate at USCIS to make sure it actually gets investigated....

Ugh I hope we hear something this week, at the very least knowing where our file is would be super.....

06-18-2006 Met online in WoW

04-25-2007 Admitted that we had feelings for each other started talking on skype everyday!

10-12-2007 Met in US in person for the first time, love at first sight lol, 2 perfect months together.

06-21-2008 Engaged

08-16-2008 Package finally put together and posted to Vermont! Let the real games begin.

08-21-2008 Delieved, least thats what Fedex told us....

08-27-2008 Check Cashed *dances* come on NOA1!!!!!

08-29-2008 NOA1

10-27-2008 RFE

11-10-2008 RFE returned

03-01-2009 Confirmed Case lost by USCIS

04-03-2009 Refiled K1 Visa application complete with expedite due to USCIS error.

05-14-2009 K1 package once again has vanished....

06-08-2009 Hired lawyer to proceed with Appeal process.

06-26-2009 Paperwork Fedex'ed to lawyer

07-02-2009 Lawyer submitted our suit to court

07-17-2009 Court day 2: Success, must respond by 21st August. - No result ever came from this.

10/06/2009 Withdrew K1 petition

10/10/2009 Married

10/24/2009 CR1 packet completed and posted

10/26/2009 Packet arrived at Chicago - And Submitted our Aussie application

11/04/2009 Application of CR1 returned - was rejected because of a "blurry zip code" we didn't bother to re-apply given that Chris had lost his job

04/05/2010 Australian application still pending

September 2010 - Chris arrived in Australia on Temporary Visa.

10/10/2011 - 2 year wedding anniversary - Chris to be granted Australian Permanent Residency

Summer 2012 - Planned immigration to USA.

*We have visited each other 8 times since 2007*

Well i might be adding myself to this club a few days early but im only a few days away from my 6 months and am starting to get highly annoyed with this whole process. And this explination " In July and August of 2007, nearly 2.5 million applications and petitions of all types were received. This compares to 1.2 million applications and petitions received in the same time period last year. " is BS to me okay this was in 2007! HELLO its 2009 there has been plenty of time to deal with this problem you would think after almost 2 years you would have a staff large enough to deal with the influx but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO its gotten worse!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

this prolly wont make u feel any better but there are still some of us waiting from that time period in 2007 some of them i talk to dont come back on vj cuz they are just so depressed by the complete process and cant stand seeing all the approvals since they got their noa1s in july, aug, and sept there are even a couple of junes that i know of from 2007

i hope u do not have the long wait that we have and i hope u do not become a member of our club because it means ur late on ur noa2 but if u do we are a great bunch of people that are here to help each other and give encouragement to each other

It seems that there are lots more petitions being approved but the number of 6 months+ is increasing....strange!
