I was just glad to see that they had touched it for the new year lol. Im still a little devoed as we are stuck with a sponser at this stage, but were thinkn of going the other way and shun coming to aussie instead. the way the world is at the moment. we doin ok down under TOUCH WOOD LOL! I think of you often ure always in my prayers babe! keep in touch xooo emmm

GREAT YOU ARE BACK!!!!

Oh no!! you too! f****n security checks!!! Its a joke. So sorry for you, but at least you are thinkin of alternatives. you are with your babe. He coud come stay with you in Oz.

I was with mine Sept - end Nov then he came to UK & i met him on Christmas day at Manchester airport. He stayed till Jan 21st & now I dont know when I'll see him again.

I know we are luckier than others in that we can use the visa waiver. This time it was much harder to say goodbye because we are soooo much closer. I think if we havent heard anythin I will go back to US in June for 3 months.

there aren't many of the old 6 monthers left...Panterchen, sheez & titanic, zoe & hal, brazilzian xuxu..all approved & good for them. Only poor old Sara left!!! the longest EVER!!!

Plenty of new 6 monthers tho & I hope they get there's too!

Be good chuck & stay on here!!!

Be good chuck!!

Im still rooting for you guys, you'll be approved soon and there before you know it!!! let me know how it works out! i keep checking in to see you guys approved.. where is it????

Guys! Still thinking about you and reading up on the forum daily! One day this will all be a distant memory... focus on the moment your SO will be waiting for you at the airport and know that this part is behind you. You WILL get your happy ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I got a question: I got my NOA1 on Sept. 15, 2008. But since then my case has not been touched at all. I always see from you guys "touched". Is this normal, that in more than 4 month my case has not even been touched???

Thanks.

Roman

I've seen plenty of ppl not get touches for the first several months. No cause to worry yet.

I got my NOA1 6 months ago and haven't had any touches since July. (I dont know if my file may be lost?)

I wanted some news about you, I'm so sad that you are still waiting :(

Hope that you will get approved VERY soon

Service request is a stupid thing and I would advice everybody against it. It's a way for them to sit back and postpone your case for a later date.

We phoned again, trying to find out if we are in security checks or not, and the guy on the phone kept telling us to wait for the 3 months mentioned in the service request reply and he didn't understand why my fiance got nervous. The service request is the last information for our case and we have to wait for 3 months-right.

At least my fiance is nervous now and he finally decided to write to the senator. Fingers crossed!

My son received his approval via email today. However, he doesn't need it any more because his fiance had broken up with him. She had been very negative about the procedure, and very pessimistic - she went back to Romania to visit her family over the holidays, and then broke up with him. A lot of the problems were the typical stresses from not seeing each other much. I'm sad for them, but realistically, would rather them break up before the marriage then after...

As for his timeline, he had originally had his noa1 Feb 29, but then had sent a RFE . By the time it was sent back (he was deployed to Afghanistan) it was June 19 before they started work on it again. He had a touch June 24, no more until Nov, but it was removed the same day. He just received the NOA2 this morning. 7 months, 8 days to approval. (Counting from when they re-started his app on June 19)...

Good luck to all still waiting!

Nancy
